I'm Deb, a designer, animator and illustrator from Sydney.
I love clever concepts, obnoxious puns and translating simple briefs into dynamic and thoughtful concepts.
As a freelance designer and animator, I’ve worked on designs for clients such as Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Disney, McAfee, Subaru, Telstra, Fair Work Ombudsman, BT Super, Ray White and City of Sydney as well as the shows Kazoops and Bottersnikes and Gumbles.
In 2013, from over 800 national entries, I was chosen to participate in a week long short film shoot conducted by Samsung and NIDA, mentored by Baz Luhrmann. I took on the role as costume and production designer for “The Pilgrim Report” which premiered at the Sydney Opera House’s 40th Anniversary celebrations. In 2014, I was a contributing editor for Australia’s biggest creative career network, The Loop, where I wrote rather unconventional muses and valuable insights into the design industry from a young creative’s perspective. The following year, I was an episodic designer at Mighty Nice for the show Bottersnikes and Gumbles, now available to watch on Netflix.
In 2016, I was a Fiver at Google's Creative Lab in Sydney, making fun creative experiments within the realms of tech and design. Between 2017 and 2018, I moved to London and worked with The Line Animation, for clients such as Gucci, Doritos, Unilever, Blizzard, Chucklefish and BBC.
